In detail
The stable, which is adjacent to the old church, has been sympathetically renovated into a self-catering studio cottage which sleeps up to 2 people. It retains many of its original features, including the stone walls, wooden beams and stable door.
This open plan space consists of a living area with a television, DVD/video player and a wide selection of books, a dining area with a fold leaf table and a kitchen which is designed to meet all your self-catering requirements.
This holiday cottage has a double bed and is divided from the main room by a large bookcase and the original stable stall posts. There is a separate bathroom, with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.
The Stable overlooks the valley towards Heavenfield and provides stunning views of the Northumbrian countryside, as well as opening directly onto the private grounds belonging to Old Church Cottages. |
